For the 1st time, i tried lightning photography and this one is just special. I was about to go home when my officemate, Nikos, asked me how to photograph lightning. I told him i never done it before but i have read in the magazines how to do it... i gave it a try and brought out my camera and my tripod.. I noticed that theres one spot at the skyline where lightning usually occurs.. i just pointed my camera on that spot and waited for about 30 minutes. Then suddenly a mesh of electricity appeared and i was lucky enough to capture it... By far, this is my favorite photo I ever did... i was so happy to photograph my 1st lightning. I wanna thank Nikos for forcing me to do this photo.. This was pretty cool....

The Day Before Tomorrow

Went to the office at the heart of noon. It was hot. It was sizzling. Its like a partial feeling of hell. Arrived at the office and just gathered my gear. Went on a photoshoot at this Thai Restaurant over at Pearl Drive. The Shoot went well except for my very annoying flu thats been killing me as always. Ended my work really exhausting. Not because of taking photos, its because of sneezing one after another. Gawd... if only id never catch a cold in my life.. that would be my wish.
Ended the day with this spectacular view of Bonifacio High Street. Just love the colors of sunset. Waiting for tomorrow. A day that is goin to be an adventure. Im travelling to Boracay for a photoshoot. And im doing it alone.
There was a time that I wished that I want to become a professional tourist. Now here I am... So be carefull what you wish for coz you might actually get it. :) Love my job! =)

Going to Work

Now this is my favorite sight every morning. Those monster girders and shafts showing those leading lines. This shot was really quick coz its a crowded area and shooting at this place is prohibited. (Guards with high powered rifles are always on standby God knows what are they trying to protect).
Just everyday scenes that fascinates me. It may be nothing to you but a thing of beauty to me...

The Sky Will Clear After

Its been a long day at the office and everything seems to be off and bad vibes keep on pouring. But what do you know, after all the shitty things thats been happenin, something good brightened my dull, sad eyes.. I saw the sky like this outside the window... like a message above telling me, "Dont to get too hard on to yourself... the day is still young. Good things will come." Then suddenly Jane and Ken walked inside the office carrying a birthday cake for Ms. Flor. Its her birthday today. See.. the day aint that bad afterall...

Boni Station

This is the view of the MRT tracks up on Boni Station. I was amazed by the scenic view of EDSA at this late part of the day. Those red streaking tail lights and the yellow head lights is really nice to look at. Divided by the tracks, theres this vanishing point just after the curve. This is my 2nd time to glimpse this part of EDSA from this point of view and I cant help myself to take a snap. This picture is one of my favorites in my Project 365 album. Hope you like it as well.

Hong Kong City Skyline
Tsim Sha Tsui. The best place to visit if you want to see the great Hong Kong city lights. We witnessed the laser show that really blew me off in awe! Great music and amazing choreography. People in different skin color flocked the sea side and all you can hear from them is ooohs and wows! Its really awesome. Too bad i dont have the tripod with me. Most of my HK skyline shots are blurry. I placed the camera on the railings to lessen my inner-body vibrations :P Tsim Tsa Tsui - Put this on your checklist the next time you visit Hong Kong. I tell you...this will complete your Hong Kong vacation. More pictures to come.
Shenzhen China
The one thing I noticed about Shenzhen, the place is so damn clean! As in over sa linis. You cant even find a single dry leaf scattering around the streets. The grass and the trees are well maintained. Freshly cut and all so green.Amazing! Thanks to Shelly, our lovely tour guide. She showed us the great sights of Shenzhen and enlightened us with the highlights of this town. We went to this place where they sell Jade and moonstones. Jade stones are really popular for chinese people for they believe it will bring good luck. Usually they are green in color but there are Jade stones who are colored violet that are very rare and expensive! Too bad photography is not allowed. I would have wanted to show them to you. We also tried this tea they offered which is really good for the body. Then we went to this pearl and silk factory where all sorts of pearls and fine silk are sold. Beautiful but very expensive. Then we had lunch at this chinese restaurant wer the food is really good and the girl who serve food is really cute :P Oh well. If the streets of Shenzhen enticed you, wait till you see The Window of the World in my next album. What a great place.
Discovering Hong Kong
Simply amazing. Breathtaking sights. Great food. Clean surroundings. Hong Kong has it all. The image above is the amazing Lippo Centre. One of my favorite buildings in HK. But our next destination is far better. We went to IFC building, the tallest building in all of Hong Kong. I never imagined standing on the 88th floor of this building. Truly spectacular! The elevator going up is really fast! coz it only took us about a minute to reach the 88th floor! The view on top is unimaginable. The 88th is never a tourist area. Thanks to kuya's friend who sneaked us in. Because of him, we witnessed one of the most spectacular view in Hong Kong. He's an angel! After our visit to stratosphere, we rode a fastcraft and went to Ma Wan Island. We had a magnificent view of Ching Ma bridge that took our breath away. Way back home, I was just googling and spamming blogs about it and now, its right there above and infront of my face, waiting to be captured by my lens! Amazing! Thank God for the perfect weather. We had sunny skies all the way that made this day really special. More of Hong Kong in my next albums. For now, here are my top picks of the day. Enjoy! :)
