I really love shooting cocktails! Its because after you're done with it.. you can drink it afterwards! (That is, if the client permits.. hehe). Took photos of 6 different cocktails and boy i was so refreshed! I used a lot of props in this one and i dunno if they are relevant with the photo.. it looks good though and the client actually loved it.. Many thanks to the staff of Networld Hotel over at Roxas Blvd for the warm hospitality.

Casa Amapola
If you're that person that loves fine art and searching for that exquisite place to relax then Casa Amapola is the one for you. Situated at the heart of Makati, its just half an hour away from the airport. They have great rooms which showcases very interesting art pieces.
I so love the paintings. Im an avid fan of fine art as well and I was entertained to a different level upon shooting the rooms. Sir ogie, the owner of the place is such a nice man and he loves art so much and he has interesting insights on things. He has this great sense of style and it shows in his interior designing. His wife is an artist and most of the paintings are hers.
This is one of the most romantic rooms where red light flooded the entire place. Again interesting artifacts can be found like that fan over there looks really nice. Bed is soft and i felt that nice, relaxing feel..
Space is really important and the rooms has an ample amount it. Each rooms has a flat screen tv with cable and it has wi-fi access all over. Bathrooms look really nice as well. Creative and artistic like the rooms. Cold and hot water is very much available. They also offer Airport pick-up and drop-off services!
Best thing about this place is that, its more like a house. Like a place of your own where privacy is a must. A lot of travelers visit the place because of its warm and very homy feel. Who wouldnt want to relax in this really soft bed and watch tv all day.. i would! They also offer free breakfast :)

Casa Ibiza
Its already 1am and im still wide awake. I have been awake for more that 24 hours and I already have blood shot eyes, puffy eyebags and a serious tummy deformation due to unlimited amounts of beer and sodas consumed. But still im here. This brave soul is here to write and blog about this magnificent place even if his grammar is grade 2-ish and words are undeniably corny. Welcome to Casa Ibiza in Antipolo. A place to relax, unwind.. and work all at the same time!
Theres a big pool just beside the restaurant. There is also a small pool for kids to enjoy. I love this part over here where you can squat, and have dinner with some booze with your lady friend under a cool breezy night adorned with soft candle lights. Its perfect. Bring a date here im sure she will thank you for it.
This is the dining area that has the view of the big pool and the kiddie pool. Food here is really nice. I enjoyed their longanisa! Its really delicious.
Some people usually lower down their expectations when they see a travel deal on a group buying site. But this one, we are surprised because we dont really expect the place rocks! Its beautiful! Pool is big enough. The villas and its rooms are fantastic and their food is commendable! Casa Ibisa is not bad at all! One of the best places near the metro.
A view from the front entrance. I so love that classic carriage. You can see there the villas.. They painted it in different colors, blue, yellow, red... looks really good actually.
Bumped with the girls while finishing their breakfast. Love anne's pose over there (leftmost). This should be their "candid" shot but i dunno.. it doesnt look that candid to me.
Before we left, I had to take a group shot but the thing is i left my tripod at the studio. I just asked one of the attendants to take a photo of us. Good thing i had my camera set on Large quality because theres a huge blank space at the right side of the photo which eventually i have to crop it out.
It was fun! We had some great, treasured memories out there. Even though it was Work / Outing kinda thing.. we still had fun though. I really had a great time. Thanks to the happy people of ensogo, most specially the research people, merchant services and the production team. It was a blast!

Amazed at Hotel H20
Ived never been in a place so cool like this ever before. This is Hotel H20. It is located within Manila Ocean Park. Even though the weather doesnt want to cooperate with us we still went thru the shoot...all wet yet amazed! This is the reception area. A really cool one indeed. This is what ya call interior designing! Very modern. Very stylish!
This one is the lobby where you find guests lounging around. Just chilling. This is also the receiving area for the H20. Look at that ceiling! Its really amazing. The design is really wicked. Its so cool. I love it.
Ever seen a hallway like this before? Well i dont! Its like im in a sci-fi movie! The lights.. the mirrors.. the lines and curves is really amazing. Love the design. If you are amazed with the hallways., wait till you see the rooms!
Now this is the Aqua room where theres a huge saltwater aquarium on your wall! With mirrors all over, it has this really spacious feel. The bed is really soft and the view is spectacular! Manila bay sunset is just a curtain away! Really nice room i tell you. Very inviting., it smells really good, furnishings are really modern looking and bathrooms are awesome.
This is one of their rooms with twin beds. Again., its very spacious. Great view of the Manila Bay and the bathrooms are awesome as well. This is like the first room without the Aqua view.
After the shoot, the managers of the hotel gave us a well deserved treat. They invited us for a snack at their cafeteria downstairs and had some Pad thai and some chicken. The Pad thai was so good. I dunno how to describe it. Its just really delicious... You can actually see it in the photo. The shrimps are perfect., and the nuts gave the dish that unqique taste! Love it!
Shau's Lemon Barley was really interesting. By the looks of it, you might find it a little weird but wait till you taste it., its so damn good! I just got a fresh mango juice and its tastes good as well.
In filipino, this is what they call., "Binalot". Its chicken wrapped in palm leaves. This is so damn good. The scent of the palm leaf really just accentuates giving that distinct aroma that is really appetizing! You must try this one when you happen to visit Manila Ocean Park. Our experience at Hotel H20 wsa really amazing. Like I said before., its a hotel with a unique design., unique concept and has very accommodating and very hospitable staff. Its really good there. Enjoying the different amenities that Manila Ocean Park has., this is the best place to rest. This place is all worth it.
Thanks again to the staff of Hotel H20 specially to Ms Lowelyn Tangi. To Ms Vangie who accompanied us througout the shoot and to shau for being my assistant for the day. Good times! :)

Back at St. Giles
Part 2 of my shoot at St. Giles Hotel in Makati. Although the 1st shoot is already a success for me, we are tasked to have another shoot with the food still intact and fresh (Last time was like chaos since people were starting to pour all over). This time, we have our first dibs on the buffet table.
These chocolate brownies are awesome! They are not too sweet. Its just perfect. I just love the way how they serve it. Simple and artistic! Yummy!
Salad bar is still virgin. Took this shot as soon as the dressing was placed. Those fresh greens are so tempting! Love the mix of colors.
Now this Ube something is really good! It already looks good in the pictures what more if your taste buds have a grasp of it! This is a personal favorite. I tell you., its a must try. sarap sobra.
Fresh fruits are already served. The papayas, pineapples and the watermelon slices are so delicious. Perfect for that hot steamy weather outside.
Because we're on a hurry., i havent tasted this and it will be a mystery to me until my next visit to St. Giles. How i wish i could go back there. Well why not?! We have a deal at Ensogo and its very affordable. I do believe its running now. Thanks to the staff of St. Giles Hotel. Thanks for taking care of us. You guys are the best! Thursday, June 9, 2011
Lunch @ St. Giles

This is probably one of the reasons why I love my job so much. Travelling to different places, meeting new people and specially having free food! Our photoshoot at St.Giles Hotel in Makati somehow got re-scheduled but somehow, the management is kindly enough to feed me and my partner Jan. (Good thing Jan is popular!) hehe.
People are starting to pour in as they serve their sumptuous buffet lunch. Even though the shoot was moved., i still managed to take some snaps of the people enjoying their food.
The place is really nice although the air conditioning is insanely cold! As a tip., wear a jacket if ur planning to visit this place. :) Maybe its just raining... Perfect for that hot soup..or even a sip of that hot coffee.

People at different walks of life come here. Maybe because the price is reasonable enough for everyone to enjoy. Its really nice since you're dining in one of the finest hotels in the metro without breaking a hole in your pocket. Its a good deal!
After that hearty meal., fresh fruits are served at the other table. these watermelons are really delicious! They also have papayas, pineapples and buko pandan.
They also have these.. "kakanin" and its delightfully good! Too bad i did not took a photo of the ube variant. Tastes good as well. Il get another shot of these when i get back there. My lunch at St. Giles is really awesome. Im looking forward to go back. Visit their buffet and im sure you will feel the same way as well. =)

Makati Palace Hotel
After my shoot at Tia Marias, we went straight to Makati Palace Hotel for another photoshoot. Its right at the heart of Burgos street in Makati where a lot of foreigners flock around on which is the main guests at the hotels around the area.
This is the main entrance of the restaurant. Love the piano peeking at the entrance door. Too bad the photoshoot did not pushed through because there were issues regarding the schedule of the deal so we have to re-sked the photoshoot. Kinda frustrating but what the hell... we just asked if we could take photos of the lobby and the restaurant for future documentation.Friday, March 11, 2011
Le Spa @ Sofitel
My first time at Sofitel. Had a shoot for their marketing campaign and again, i was lucky enough to be their photographer. The place is really nice. Its one of those places that you would love to stuck inside the whole day. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Its quite an experience.
The interior is amazing as well. I love the color patterns that they used. Those interesting pieces that they used. Love those rattan balls on top of the table. And the pillows has these earthly colors. They are very comfy too. :)
Everyone should wear these slippers once you go inside. They maintain a very neat and clean environment. Thats why you have to remove your shoes and wear these really comfortable flops once you go inside the premises.
These chairs are part of the massage area. Very nice and comfy. Soft music. With the scent of burning oils and those dim lights that really make the whole place very relaxing. Im addicted again with the worms eye view angle and this is one of these shots that i really like. :)
