Watches by Tomato

I am late again for the nth time my gawd! My bed just engulfed me and getting up is quite a challenge! As I arrived, Mam Golda asked me to take pictures of these products from Tomato. I gathered up my gear and set it up at the pantry. Used both of my Nikon SB600 to illuminate the small room. Triggered by my cheapo Yongnuos.

The photo above is one of the last photos i took just outside our office. Just around the elevator area. My friend Cara told me that it would be better if there's someone to model this fabulous watches rather than shooting the product itself. I asked my modelicious officemates, Renz and Luisa to model for these watches free of charge!

Back to my strobist rig at the pantry, i took product shots of the watches. This one looks really good specially when you're wearing something colorful or.. it can go well when you're wearing longsleeves or a polo shirt...

They also have this gorgeous piece over here for women perfect if you're wearing a dress or something formal. The intricate designs of the stones around the watch makes it elegant. Perfect for Luisa's outfit since shes wearing something formal yesterday (i guess shes out on a date later! haha binisto eh no?) . Good thing she agreed for an impromptu shoot! :)

Luisa's natural beauty is very alluring and I have to agree the camera loves her. Her photogenic facade captivates a lot of people. While viewing the photos ,people passing by cant help saying.. "wow..." , "is that Luisa?" "Naks! Pwede Pwede!". True impressions to attest her remarkable modelling attributes! Ikaw na ang ensogo model! hehe

I didnt know that tomato also sells watches. I thought they only sell clothes and accessories. These watches are not bad at all and they are all coming soon for a great discount at ensogo-living social. This his and hers watch over here looks really good. I have to shoot it at this level in order to capture that lovely reflection at the bottom.

This only shows i have a lot to learn more with photography... I really need to practice and focus on the techniques to level up or simply survive at the field. Sometimes, im lost on what to do about lighting conditions, what settings should i use. As for shooting fashion, what poses should choose? How do i light the model? Where is the perfect place to put my strobes and what setting should i use for the strobes? Gawd! Theres so much to think about unlike your ordinary point and shoot! But this stuff is my daily grind and learning through it is gratifying for me coz doing something that I really love makes stress a little less stressful. =) Toast toast kampay!

Good job guys! Thanks to Luisa and Renz for modelling, and to Cara who held the strobes and reflectors. Salamat!

Z-Clothing Shoot @ Eco Park

It was a crazy saturday at La Mesa Ecopark for Z-Clothing's product line photoshoot. It was kinda gloomy back then and i was a little worried about the nasty weather that is about to pour on us. There was a lot of people as well that would somehow hinder the shoot but still we went on with the show...

This is Nikki whose wearing this gorgeous purple dress. She really transformed beautifully after the make-up session with Butch Coo. I almost did not recognize her. Love this picture. The bokeh effect on the back made it really intresting. I just love my 70-300 on portraits! I triggered this one with Yongnuos and used an SB600 as fill light.

Its almost golden hour and the sun light is beautiful. Thats Zara and Nikki by the wood railings shooting against the light... Placed my strobes right on the sides to give depth and luminance.

Pat has this undeniable beauty. Shes a head-turner as she walks down the cemented streets of ecopark grazing Z's stunning clothes.

I really like this get up and it suits up with Nikki's personality. She really has this great smile and a refreshing aura. Love this photo.

Inspired by Danny Santos, he's a street photographer in Singapore...I asked Zara to walk down the street with this white umbrella.. With its beautiful colors of greens and yellows., this photo is really cool in the eyes.... match it up with her green dress, its really soothing! Love it!

Z is soon coming and it will be available online. Many thanks to Butch Coo for their make-up. Amazing artistry with the brush. Also to Ms. Cheyz Pedregoza for her knowledge in style. Lastly to Zara Aspiras for the invite. Hope your clothing line makes it to the top and i wouldnt be surprise if it does! Great job guys.

2nd Shoot for PAL's Cabin Crew

Some of the members of PAL's flight crew did not make it from the first shoot. They organized a 2nd shoot and im glad it turned up pretty well.

The shoot started late due to bad weather. Rain started to pour really hard. Good thing it didnt last long since we have to take videos of them at the roof top. We were a little worried about the scenario. Faith pushed us through.

Setting up the lights took most of the time. Me and Marco had to lift the tables and chairs to make-way for our back-drop and strobes.

I appreciate working with these people. they are really nice and down to earth. There was a time that I dreamed of being a flight attendant. But im not a good swimmer and its a big requirement. All i wanna do is just slide that yellow thing that pops out of the plane. Looks fun.

Thanks to Angge Barcelona and Marco Quimson for the creative direction and the light set-up. You guys are really doing well. I also would like to thank Images by Mediaworld Creatives Co. for giving me another chance to shoot at their studio. Thanks guys.

I really love doing this. Hope theres more in the future. To this batch of PAL Cabin crew, congratulations! Happy graduation. Good job guys!
